Concrete was placed in the 20-foot-high walls after only five days of construction time. The finished wall features arched gables supporting a stylish roof design. To attain the twenty-six foot final height and carry all loads, a twelve-inch thick pilaster design was utilized, adding not only strength, but a very attractive profile to the walls.
As the project progresses, ledger boards and structural steel are attached to the ICF walls using a combination of anchor bolts and embedded J-bolts. A steel stairway landing for the mezzanine staircase is also firmly attached to the ICF walls.
